Low Tide: Hartlepool 1872

Personal piece. Here's another steampunk..ish idea. I thought the port of Hartlepool in the northeast of England would be a fitting location for a steampunk picture. It was a huge shipbuilding centre in Victorian times, and must have been an amazing sight in its heyday. H.G Wells' lesser known novel, In the Days of the Comet was also an influence on this picture. I highly recommend it.
