Personal piece. I'm a huge fan of Frank Herbert's Dune series. Here we see Princess Irulan, daughter of Emperor Shaddam IV, and member of The Bene Gesserit Sisterhood, researching the life of Paul Atreides, for one of her many biographical works. One of a developing series of paintings, celebrating my favourite women of scifi. This piece of sublimely beautiful, authentic medieval music, was instrumental in its creation.
